Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. Sourcing Associate/Assistant Buyer Location: Chandler, AZ Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Sourcing Associate/Assistant Buyer to join our team! The Sourcing Associate/Assistant Buyer assists in the sourcing and purchasing of spare parts for the semiconductor market. Individual will be responsible for working with our current Supply base in obtaining price quotes, negotiating price, communicating basic technical information and other data to ensure quote accuracy and order fulfillment. Position will require research via internet and other resources to assist in identifying new sources of supply. Will communicate with the suppliers regarding customer requirements and other critical information necessary for the end user quoting process. Will Assist with Supplier Quality issues, obtaining return authorizations and tracking progress to close. Responsible for adding new parts into the database. Assistance with various purchasing duties such as expediting and data entry processes. Requesting RMA's and working returns with warehouse to supplier What makes you great: • Logistics management, Supply Chain or related discipline is required. • Semiconductor Manufacturing experience a plus • Oracle ERP experience desired • Associate or bachelor's degree or 3 years related experience in Purchasing, Sales, Operations or related fields • Effective Communication including written and verbal • Must demonstrate effective skills with Microsoft Excel and ability to manage large worksheets • Candidate must be able to multi-task and be able to manage interruptions and manage daily tasks • Good analytical skills • Quick and effective decision making Why you will enjoy working with us: Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2023 sales of $33 billion.
