Your Role:
A Packaging Operator 2 will have a general understanding of a production environment and will have exposure to multiple systems within the company. Packaging Operator 2 must understand how to read SOPs, MMPs, and BOMs. This position will perform with minor guidance of a supervisor.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Point of contact for department when supervisor is unavailable
Effectively update department metrics
Print orders and prioritize the daily workload
Knowledge of Reporting Process Deviations and Articulating Corrective Actions.
Perform additional duties as assigned
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to follow instruction and understand operating procedures
Experienced in doing basic math and counting to large numbers without error
Willingness to learn multiple production operations and adjust quickly to new tasks
Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally to report production information
Proficient in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Prior experience working with ERP database
