Your Role:



EMD Electronics is hiring an OEM Marketing Manager to cover our West Coast (Silicon Valley/Bay area). Ideally, the candidate will be located in the San Jose, CA area or in the Carlsbad, CA area. Candidates in Sheboygan, WI or Tamaqua, PA will be considered. In this role you will lead our collaborations with North America OEMs to partner on next generation products for the Semiconductor Market.


Responsibilities:

• 
  
  
  
  • Support collaboration with our key OEM partners to establish our precursors early in the development cycle. Partner with OEMs to establish our materials as "BKMs" (Best Known Methods) and bring them jointly to our common IDM customers. Further support both our internal and external teams to make sure these materials are established as POR (product of record) at the IDM.
  
  
  • Lead meetings including Technical Review Meetings and periodic working groups. Set up prep meeting with key stakeholders including R&D, Sales, and Marketing. Lead follow up including action items and samples.
  
  
  • Support key sample delivery to OEMs working with Market Managers and Samples Team. Spearhead escalation on critical materials.
  
  
  
  


• Maintain/strengthening collaboration/partnership with NA OEMs
  
  
  • Establish/keep good relationships with key personnel for new process development at each OEM.
  
  
  • Work on development agreements (NDA, JDA, SOW, etc....) with the goal of continued collaboration with best possible financial and IP position for EMD Electronics.
  
  
  • Work with legal, sales, and R&D to protect our IP during the collaboration.
  
  
  
  

This role will lead teams that include R&D, Market Managers, and customers facing roles (Customer Application Specialists/Sales). Networking within a large organization is the key to success.


This position may include domestic travel of up to 15%.



Who You Are:




Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or any other technical field


• 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry

Preferred Qualifications:

• Chemistry and business background


• Demonstrated experience working with external partners and/or customers


• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written


• Ability to collaborate and be a team player


• Network within large organizations

Pay Range for this position - $49,500 - $148,900
