Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist implements Human Resource policies and programs as directed by the Human Resources Site Manager. The major areas covered are recruiting and employment, organizational development, indoctrination and training as well as employee relations, and employee services.
Job Responsibilities
• Under the direction of the Human Resources Site Manager, develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
• Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems with the Human Resources Site Manager, and recommends necessary changes.
• Manages payroll for the site, rewrites job descriptions & interview guides as necessary, manages the leave process for the site.
• Conducts recruitment effort for all non-exempt team members, conducts new-employee orientations as needed; employee relations counseling, stay interviews and exit interviewing.
• Establishes and maintains department records and reports
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
• 4 year college degree
- Manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
