Job Description:

ERM is hiring an EH&S Program Coordinator to support our technology client in Santa Clara, CA.  This is a full-time (40 hours/week), limited-term role for a duration of 11 months, renewable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Purchase EHS equipment through vendors based on inventory needs and demand.


  • File, organize, and track invoices, packing slips, delivery records, and forms.


  • Continued development and maintenance of internal logistics dashboard.


  • Continued development and quality assurance of logistics process flows including coordination with logistic contractors for delivery from holding warehouse to final locations.



  • Work with EHS subject matter experts (SME) to develop and deploy approved specialized kits and/or PPE. For example:



    • Lead-free solder sample kits and fume extractors


    • Specialized chemical spill kits


    • Hygiene kits for user study groups




  • Process ad hoc EHS requests for equipment orders.


  • Generate bi-weekly dashboard reports for executive leadership team.


  • Administrative support for respiratory protection and hearing conservation employee notifications.


  • Medical surveillance and training activities tracking in coordination with Client’s Industrial Hygiene team.


  • Maintain applicable PPE inventory for program (Size and model).


REQUIREMENTS:


  • 3-5 years’ experience in logistics management.


  • Must be able to provide onsite support at SCV.


  • Must be an independent worker with strong leadership and management skills


  • Must be able to work with a variety of clients and stakeholders, including third-party vendors and contractors.


  • Working knowledge of chemical hazards is a plus.


  • Working knowledge of applicable regulations, guidelines, and standards (i.e. Cal/OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, ANSI) is a plus.


  • Must have good communication skills and be able to work with Client EHS and other internal Client teams.


  • Quick learner able to use enterprise suite of applications (i.e. Pages, Numbers, Box).


  • Strong project management and administrative skills.


  • Valid Driver’s License is required.


  • High School diploma is required.

Pay Transparency:

For the EH&S Program Coordinator position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $63,099 – $73,337, $30.33/hr– $38.25/hr, limited-term, non-exempt.  An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.  We also may have instances where employee’s fall outside of the range based on the factors noted above.  This job may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/Flexforce employees are NOT bonus eligible).
