Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's High Tech Retail client in Rocklin, CA is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, SRE with Full Stack production support experience to join their team.

Team Overview:
Devender oversees production support for all their customer facing B2B and B2C websites. In this role, you are focused on one small piece of a large puzzle. In ESRE, you get to work on a broad range of features/projects - length and breadth. This person will participate in a 24/7 support team - on-call rotation once per month.

Duties/Day to Day Overview/Role Breakdown:

• 70% - Operations work - triage, trouble shoot, monitor applications - working across all parts of the customer journey (landing page, PIP, browse, cart, checkout flow, etc.)


• 30% - Engineering work - building automation tools/tasks, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience


• Full stack experience - knowledge of Java/J2EE backend services


• Strong UI skills - experience with either JavaScript (ES5/ES6+), Vue.js, Angular, React, Node.js, etc.


• Production support experience from ecommerce domain


• Retail Ecommerce/B2C/Customer facing application experience


• Experience with monitoring tools: AppDynamics, Dynatrace, ELK, Splunk, etc.

Additional Qualifications (Nice to Haves):

• Experience in utilizing (or designing) REST APIs


• Experience with version control (git/svn), and continuous integration tools


• Experience providing hands-on monitoring as well as authoring monitoring and alerting using multiple toolsets


• Knowledgeable in web best practices (e.g., browser capabilities, unit, and integration testing)


• Good communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
