Job Description:

Position Overview:


The People Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the production team by managing key aspects of project assignments, travel coordination, and contract labor hiring. In this role, you will ensure smooth and effective operations while supporting the company's most valuable asset-its people. You will work closely with Production Managers to facilitate travel and staffing logistics and assist with managing projects on a local and national scale.


Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and assign production projects to Production Managers and technical staff.
- Develop and manage a pool of contract labor resources across multiple locations, ensuring appropriate staffing for each project.
- Facilitate the creation and assignment of quotes for production projects, coordinating with production staff.
- Implement and refine workflow systems to optimize people operations, leveraging various software platforms.
- Organize and book travel arrangements for contract labor and staff on a per-project basis.
- Work closely with the Sr. Production Manager and General Manager of Production to ensure seamless communication and project assignment.
- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling and workflow management.


Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
- Proven ability to maintain effective communications with contractors and internal team members
- Ability to meet tight deadlines


Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the live event production industry
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and time management skills
- Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new software


Working Conditions:
- Onsite position; hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed
