The Regional Marketing Manager, Americas is responsible for overseeing and executing all marketing initiatives within the US ensuring alignment with Commercial Sales Team and Strategic Global Marketing Plan. This role emphasizes the development of marketing programs tailored to key accounts and will leverage insights from product and sales to drive growth in strategic customer segments. The successful candidate will collaborate with sales teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with the needs of key accounts, while also managing broader regional marketing initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in marketing campaign execution, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the life sciences industry and US market dynamics.



This position reports to the Director of Regional Marketing, Americas and is part of the Sales, Service and Marketing team based in Waltham, US and will be on-site. At Abcam, our vision is to be the most influential life sciences company for researchers worldwide.




In this role, you will have the opportunity to:




Develop and Execute Regional Marketing Strategy and Campaigns


Design and implement localized marketing strategies that align with global marketing goals and objectives, tailored to the unique needs of the US market. Lead the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, events, and promotional activities. Ensure that all initiatives effectively support business objectives and drive growth.




Performance Reporting and Metrics and Trends


Track, analyze, and report the performance of regional marketing initiatives. Provide actionable insights to leadership and the sales team to continuously optimize strategies and enhance campaign effectiveness.




Collaborate with Commercial Sales Organization and Product Marketing


Serve as a key advocate and partner of the Commercial Sales team and the Product Marketing Team, working across projects to align efforts and ensure mutual success.




Voice of the US Customer


Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the US market, including customer and competitor activities, market opportunities, and potential risks and ensure that feedback and insights from regional activities are communicated, fostering collaboration and alignment between regional and global stakeholders.




The essential requirements of the job include:



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Biology or a related field (master's is a plus).

  • 4 plus years of related experience.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven experience building and implementing strategic programmes that deliver significant revenue growth in the US




Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:



  • Ability to travel as needed within the region (approximately 10%-25%).




It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:



  • Marketing Automation Tools such as Eloqua or Sales Cloud

The salary range for this role is $90,000-$160,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.



This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
