Test Technician




Chelmsford, MA




Contract Position




$32.98-$37.98/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Test, tune, and troubleshoot RF microwave hybrid assemblies using state-of-the-art manual and automated equipment, ensuring performance meets outlined specifications and acceptance test procedures.


• Conduct testing under various conditions, including temperature, vibration, and mechanical shock, and manage units in burn-in ovens.


• Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks, including modifications, rework, and quality testing, in collaboration with RF Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering.


• Retrieve and review test procedures, assembly drawings, and schematics, and input test data into computer systems.

Qualifications:

• 
  Education: High School Diploma required (Bachelor's degree not required).


• 
  Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.


• 
  Experience:
  
  
  
  • Previous experience in testing, tuning, and troubleshooting RF microwave hybrid assemblies.
  
  
  • Familiarity with RF equipment (e.g., RF Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, RF Power Meters, PNA Network Analyzers).
  
  
  • Experience with soldering components in accordance with J-STD-001 standards.
  
  
  • Ability to work under a microscope using hand tools (e.g., torque drivers, tweezers).
  
  
  • Knowledge of data analysis of RF microwave test results and troubleshooting from schematics.
  
  
  • Experience with mechanical vibration equipment and working in ESD and FOD controlled environments.
