The Department of Food Services has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Senior Storeroom Attendant (U) position. The Senior Storeroom Attendant (U) performs a variety of food and supplies services, and sanitation duties to ensure proper handling in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. Additionally, the Senior Storeroom Attendant (U) completes tasks associated with storeroom operations, such as receiving, stocking, and delivering inventory.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Takes inventory and notifies appropriate managing staff of any under-stocking or over-stocking issues.
2. Performs general cleaning functions in assigned areas.
3. Participates in trash and garbage disposal.
4. Documents transactions, responds to inquiries, and notifies appropriate parties on the status of items ordered.
5. Verifies pack list and material of received items, and enters transactions into appropriate software
systems.
6. Supports and guides junior employees, and reports any compliance issues appropriately.
7. Communicates out-of-stock or special needs to help ensure that stock fill rates and lead times are
optimized.
8. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
