POSITION PURPOSE

The Project Coordinator oversees the scheduling, staging, tracking and reporting of the Division's daily activity and coordinates this activity with customers and Division employees. This position assists with getting work crews, equipment and materials to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications or needs. The Project Coordinator also completes several administrative tasks for the Division.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Employee shall perform all duties and responsibilities with Sunland's Core Values at the

  • Responsible for coordinating the Production Calendar with Superintendents and Production
  • Attends weekly production meetings and takes notes.
  • Finalizes split maps in conjunction with
  • Coordinates communications between customers and departments including scheduling preconstruction meetings and addressing questions, problems and
  • Receives, prepares and transmits work packet and budget assignments for subcontractor jobs from Superintendents, then enters work into production
  • Reviews initial job cost reports and attends division job cost
  • Maintains and updates revenue tracking
  • Communicates job completion dates to Accounting and
  • Acts as liaison between own division/supervisor and other departments, divisions and external contacts.
  • Manages material and subcontractor invoicing process, including coding and routing for Superintendents, Project Managers and Production
  • Administers the inventory tracking
  • Works with the Safety Department and Superintendents to ensure employees have appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) available to
  • Manages crew uniform set up/cancellation, cleaning and replacement
  • Participates in the in-bound customer service call rotation, enters appropriate information into company Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Act as point of contact for Division
  • May perform basic administrative and clerical functions, which may include filing, copying, binding reports, simple typing, etc.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT


  • This position operates at professional construction sites and in professional office environments, requiring the uses of standard office equipment, the ability to communicate verbally with others on site, in person and over the telephone, ability to read printed materials, signs, computer screens and directions, stamina to maintain attention to details despite interruptions, ability to lift, push, pull, carry, handle or feel objects, supplies, tools, machinery and/or controls weighing up to 50 pounds and reach with hands and arms; climb stairs and/or ladders; balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift overhead, traverse around or otherwise position one's self around the required work and safety requirements to navigating and perform activities on various construction sites in a safe
  • Will be required to work on project sites and operate vehicles, trailers, machinery, equipment and other tools within local, state and federal safety
  • Will be required to work outside, frequently for long periods of time in all weather, including extreme hot and cold
  • While working, the employee might be exposed to various chemicals, vapors, pollutants, virus or other air-borne pathogens, gases, uneven surfaces, loud noises, moving vehicles or machines and dust/debris.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Work Experience


  • High School Diploma or GED required, Four (4) year degree a
  • One (1) to three (3) years industry, administrative, and/or dispatcher experience
  • Strong computer, written and oral skills
  • Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Must be fluent in English, i.e., must be able to speak, read and write

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations


  • Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check is required.
