What will you do?


Lead the daily supervision of our customer site-based Supply Center Specialist personnel, enabling the team to consistently deliver high levels of customer service, ensure that Supply Center standards are met, and support the execution of the commercial strategy. This role is remote based, requiring a minimum 50%-75% travel to our customer sites within the designated territory.


Field and Customer Facing Support Activities:




  • Always represent Thermo Fisher Scientific throughout customer locations, professionally and positively

  • Act as liaison between customer and Thermo Fisher Scientific

  • Conduct site audits and ensure completion of all Supply Center operational procedures: product mix optimizations, physical inventories, accurate branding and marketing, and all other operational practices.

  • Identify any training needs and solutions

  • Evaluate execution of commercial strategy

  • Actively seek expansion of services within assigned territory

  • Responsible for complete employee lifecycle management: new hire selection and onboarding, identify, develop, and implement gaps in training, employee performance evaluations, 1:1s, team calls, and offboarding

  • Collaborate with cross-divisional partners to improve operational initiatives: Supply Center optimizations, Supply Center engagement challenges, new product introductions, and any projects that arise.

  • Develop, track, and trend business metrics. Communicate trends to proactively identify needs, expansion opportunities, and confirm efficiency of current personnel footprint.

  • Discover barriers to execution that arise in a timely matter. Supporting both internal teams and external customers.

  • Write and coordinate SOPs to support the goals and objectives of the channel and the customer

  • Support, discover, and participate in PPI, to find a better way everyday

  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned by management

How will you get here?




  • Minimum education requirement is a BA or BS in business-related studies

  • Minimum of 2-year people leadership

  • Prior experience or education in operations

  • Prior experience leading a team and demonstrating Leadership

  • Experience in life science a plus

  • Proven analytical skills: data mining or database

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities


  • Strong analytical, operational, and marketing concepts with the proficiency to exercise judgment within generally defined procedures.

  • Predominately works on tasks/duties that are diverse in nature using business knowledge.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Prioritization capabilities with an ability to see a task through to completion and meet expectations.

  • Strong oral and written communication skill to provide appropriate information

  • Applicant will be encouraged to work independently with little instruction on routine work but more detail instruction on new assignments

  • Discover improvement opportunities and to set and meet ambitious objectives


Compensation

The salary range estimated for this position based in Washington is $59,400.00-$80,000.00.
