From environmental planning, permitting, remediation, and site characterization to chemical data management and hydrogeology, Kleinfelder offers a variety of services designed to provide technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.

Kleinfelder is seeking an Environmental Technician to be based out of our Kingsville TX office.

We are currently seeking a high energy, mechanically inclined individual to work outdoors performing environmental field sampling services.

• The work primarily consists of soil and groundwater sampling and operations and maintenance of remediation systems.


• The position will also include the oversite of subcontractors performing mowing, clearing and excavation activities.


• This position is 90% in the field, in all weather conditions, and is physically and mechanically demanding (must be able to lift 50 pounds).


• Experience with operation, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of groundwater remediation systems is a plus.

Candidates must be independent, very responsible, mature, and willing to travel.

Effective and concise written and verbal communication skills are critical, and the candidate must be comfortable with common personal computing software.

The candidate must have an appreciation for the importance of adhering to a safety culture that believes that all accidents are preventable.

The candidate will be expected to follow written technical procedures and document field activities commensurate with individual project expectations.

H.S. Diploma/G.E.D. is required. A 2 or 4-year industrial or technical degree or training is preferred.

Candidates must have a good driving record and a valid Driver’s License.

40-hour OSHA Health and Safety Training and First Aid/CPR training preferred.
