Location: Columbia, SC
Salary: $75,000.00 USD Annually - $85,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
JDP is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in the Columbia, SC area! The candidate will be responsible to schedule and control all Plant Preventive/ Predictive Maintenance programs and functions.
Responsibilities:
- Drive reliability programs
- Monitor PM programs, Parts inventory & scheduling
- Supervise and coach direct reports
- Complete direct reports performance reviews and provide feedback
- Recommend equipment and processing system modifications and replacements
- Remain up to date on plant technology
- Implement Root cause analysis on repeated equipment faults.
- Establish and administer and effective predictive/preventative maintenance program
- Oversee all processes for maintenance and engineering associates
- Lead inclusive of plant, division, and company goals
- Work closely with outside organizations such as OSHA, EPA, FDA
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Engineering degree preferred
- 2+ years' experience in the food industry
- Knowledge of GMP, EPA and OSAH requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Proven leadership skills
