Your new company



Join a 20+ year old MEP Engineering Firm as a Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer, based Westchester, NY. Work on complex & challenging projects spanning Commercial, Office, Recreational, Cultural, Education, Food Service, Public Sector, Healthcare, Historic, Hospitality, Mission Critical, Religious, Residential, Retail, Utilities, Warehouse and other industry segments. Work in office 3 days per week.



Your new role



As a Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer you will work closely with end clients & Architects designing complex Plumbing & Fire Protection systems. The majority of their projects are performed in Revit, with some smaller projects completed in CAD. As a senior team member you will work in a highly autonomous role, while ensuring you follow internal operational excellence guidelines & design practices. You will perform a blend of hands-on design & project management related duties, no seller/doer experience is required, though would be considered advantageous. Oversight of junior team members & mentoring is expected. This Firm also has a robust pipeline of Plumbing & Fire Protection only projects, so there is great opportunity to be more involved in project management on these discipline specific projects.



What you'll need to succeed



Your experience working long-term within MEP Engineering Firms as a Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer will be key to your success in this role. Experience supporting new building design, gut renovation and responsibility for equipment sizing & selection is a must to be considered. A PE License is advantageous but not mandatory to be considered for this role.
