Contract Position




At Moseley we are supporting the largest defense contrators Missile and Fire Control program. The efforts of our employees are the key to the newest innovations in defense and aerospace.




Responsibilities:

• 
  Summary: Perform TIG and/or MIG welding on complex drawers, cabinets, and subassemblies, ensuring high precision and quality.


• Set up and maintain welding equipment, and use fixtures or table setups for correct shapes and dimensions.


• Weld with tight tolerances and minimize warpage and distortion through proper sequence.


• Prepare parts for welding through cleaning, shot-blasting, and straightening distorted components.


• Apply metal flame spray as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in TIG and/or MIG welding on aluminum, steel, or stainless steel.


• Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, chisels, squares) and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, scales).


• Familiarity with welding symbols and ability to read fabrication prints and sketches.

Technical Knowledge:

• Knowledge of basic metal groups such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
