Job Description:

Company Summary/Industry: A marketing company specializing in direct mail solutions. With over three decades of experience, the company creates impactful direct response campaigns tailored for marketers and nonprofit fundraisers. Our mission is to help clients engage, connect, and grow their audiences effectively.


This opportunity is available part-time (24 Hours during payroll weeks) or full-time, depending on qualifications.


MUST HAVE: Experience with ADP.



Job Duties:



  • Ensure compliance with reporting, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Administer payroll processes, including time reporting, employee information, pay changes, deductions, and data entry for 150+ employees.

  • Process commissions, bonuses, manual checks, voids, taxable fringe, and off-cycle payments.

  • Audit payroll reports, detect and resolve discrepancies, and provide findings as needed.

  • Maintain and update payroll records and reports (e.g., production hours, workers' comp, tax liabilities).

  • Reconcile payroll deductions (401(k), HSA, FSA), benefits invoices, and prepare annual audit reports.

  • Manage interactions with government agencies regarding employee liens and garnishments.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and support Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

  • Assist managers and employees with payroll-related inquiries, timecard exceptions, and approvals.


Requirements:



  • 2-3+ years of payroll or related experience (associate's degree in accounting/business preferred).

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now and QuickBooks preferred.
