RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage fiscal and administrative functions for various grants and contracts (e.g., Ryan White, Medi-Cal, HRSA).

  • Reconcile general ledgers, ensure month-end close, and maintain compliance with GAAP and federal standards.

  • Oversee grant billing, drawdowns, and fiscal reporting (FFR, cost reports, financial status reports).

  • Handle time and effort reporting and salary distribution adjustments.

  • Collaborate on budget planning, grant proposals, and compliance requirements.

  • Support audits, site visits, and grant-related schedules.

  • Improve grant management processes and conduct subcontractor compliance reviews.

  • Provide fiscal grant reporting training and participate in related projects.



QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field

  • Must have experience in fund/nonprofit accounting and managing government-funded programs

  • 5+ years in accounting roles (healthcare experience a plus)

  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups)

  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, Blackbaud, NetSuite, Oracle)



Location: Los Angeles - hybrid schedule


Compensation: $35-$45/hr
