Position Summary:
MassBay Community College is seeking a full-time,tenure-track English faculty member to join the Division of Humanities andSocial Sciences. The ideal candidatewill demonstrate a passion for teaching and promoting success among adiverse student population and be committed to the followingcollege-wide goals: fostering alearner-centered environment that reflects best practices, establishingrigorous curricula and relevant programs of study to promote student success,and cultivating a culture of civility, collaboration, inclusion, and respectfor individual differences and perspectives. This position includes teaching a full range of writing courses,including English Composition I and II.
Facultymembers are responsible for developing educational and evaluation materialsconsistent with the philosophy and framework of the program, MassBay CommunityCollege, and,if applicable, accreditation, licensure, and specialty requirements. The faculty member is responsible formaintaining current expertise in the discipline.

Additional Information:
Salary Range: : $56,190- $64,409, in accordance with one'seducation and experience as dictated by the collective bargaining agreementclassification compensation structure.
