Job Description:

Stockbridge General Contracting, Inc. is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Civil Estimator to work within a team environment and prepare accurate (earthwork, roads, utilities, and concrete) estimates for Renewable Energy projects throughout the United States. The ideal candidate should have strong civil work experience (10+ plus years) building crew-based
proposals. The ideal candidate should also have excellent analytical and numerical skills. Previous work experience with large scale civil projects such as Renewable Energy or Petrochem Civil would be a considered plus.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate bid/proposal speci?c needs and Determine key variables for labor, material & equipment Gather ?rsthand bid information from site visits or client RFPs. Source data on labor, equipment & materials costs, Use digital software for establishing quantities of cut/?ll, Source and review quotes with subcontractors or material Perform risk analysis for each individual proposal Create and submit proposals for in-house review with our Senior Submit proposals to the client estimating team with quali?cations, inclusions and exclusions clearly identi?ed. Perform weekly follow ups with client teams to con?rm status on previously submitted Attend weekly Business Development/Estimating conference Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers ) Prepare hando? packages for the operations team after Work and coordinate with operations on project planning, budgets, schedules, manpower needs, Be a source of support during the construction phase. Work with Business Development to meet our clients needs and maintain key business
