We are currently hiring for a full-time Cylinder Mechanic.
The purpose of this position is to tear down, clean, inspect and rebuild heavy equipment cylinder components as defined in work order and ISO process instructions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely and accurately tear down and inspection of hydraulic cylinders
Interpret drawings and prints to determine operable parts based on quality standards set forth
Use precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, bore indicators, and dial indicators
Annotate clear and precise work order instructions to be used by machinists remanufacturing any damaged parts found
Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:
1-2 years mechanical experience or equivalent preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to understand drawings and schematics
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
Knowledge to use precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, bore indicators and dial indicators
High school diploma or GED required, comparable trade school or apprenticeship experience a plus
