This position is responsible for accurately weighing and ticketing customer trucks. The weighmaster will maintain records related to ticketing operations and assist in the safe entry and exit of all visitors and customers through site training and instruction.
Hours: Monday-Sunday: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
This position will require you to travel to the following locations:
Operates an automated scale and related computer software program to generate customer tickets
Administers site specific training to visitors and ensures site guidelines are followed
Directs customers to the appropriate areas of the site
Maintains accurate records of aggregate tonnage and sales activities on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and prepares basic reports
Communicates with other site personnel to ensure proper recording of sales activities and fulfillment of customer needs
Answers customer calls and communicates pricing, product descriptions, and product availability
Maintains professionalism in all situations in the workplace and when working with customers
Aides in the training of co-workers as needed
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
Must be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated
Will take an active role in the plant safety initiatives
Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
Willing to cross-train in different areas of production
Education & Experience
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities associated with this position
Previous customer service experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Able to work cooperatively with others toward a shared goal, contribute actively to the team efforts, and possess a positive attitude in working with others as a team
Possess effective coordination and communication skills
Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to perform duties with minimal supervision
Able to work varying shifts as needed
Able to adhere to MSHA guidelines and plant safety rules and regulations

Possess basic computer skills & knowledge of Excel and Outlook
Able to provide quality customer service and focus on customer needs
Possess high ethical standards
Able to ensure a safe work environment by prioritizing safety, then quality, followed by production
