RESPONSIBILITIES:
Summary:
The IT Service Monitoring Analyst will perform continuous IT service monitoring, reporting, and facilitation of recovery from degraded or failed services. The candidate will provide technical support for incident response, service degradations, outages, and other service interruptions. This person will investigate hardware and software problems related to monitoring tools and perform corrective actions.
Tasks may include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Conduct 24x7x365 monitoring support for network, server, storage, database, Mainframe, and critical infrastructure components and services
- Conduct ongoing monitoring and response to requests for service incidents through telephone, email, instant message, websites, and other communications platforms
- Open, manage, and close Incident Reports
- Routinely assess the performance and speed of mission partner IT services and websites, and identify via ticket creation any degraded or unavailable services
- Work with the Government to define the content and operations requirements of the Common Operating Procedure (COP)
Schedule:
- Our team works an 11.25 hour shift with 4 days on and 4 days off
- Day and Night shifts available
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2-5 years of Tier I support
- Experience with Microsoft Office software
- Experience with New Relic monitoring software
- Excellent team skills, must be thorough, must have excellent communications skills, written and verbal
- Ability to work in a dynamic cross-organizational team environment
- Strong dedication to provide quality customer service
- Strong problem-solving skills including the ability to quickly identify the cause of issues with the system or determine if other teams need to be included in resolving an issue
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adhere to established deadlines
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help necessary

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
