ICON Java Engineer - Senior - Onshore at Kforce Inc in Beaverton, Oregon

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client located in Beaverton, OR that is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their team.

Project:

• Owns the technology for all asset images


• Adding new use cases for new features and adding more video production

Responsibilities:

• As a Software Developer, you will collaborate with the team to develop and enhance the back end of our framework, ensuring the delivery of intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces; They will work closely with designers, leveraging your expertise in Java and working on their Nuxeo platform


• Collaborate with the project team to develop and enhance the back end of the framework


• Create clean and responsive web layouts using React


• Utilize Java, Spring Boot and AWS, along with best practices to enhance back-end functionality


• Ensure compatibility across multiple browsers and devices


• Work with AWS EC2 and Lambda for cloud-based development

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience working with Java and Nuxeo CMS


• Experience working with Spring Boot in a microservice architecture


• Experience with Kafka, SNS


• Experience with messaging - there is a lot of messaging in their tech stack


• Experience working with Lambdas and/or Signal FX or Splunk


• Experience working with monolith architecture, actively working to break up, need to understand distributed tracing


• Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD, test automation


• Experience with Unit testing using JUnit


• Must understand observability concepts


• Familiarity with Git for collaborative development and version control


• Must have strong communication skills


• Experience in BPMN workflow application - nice to have

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
