RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client looking for a Tech Support Admin to join their team.

Summary:
This will be a project for migrating and decommissioning/replacing older PC/Windows and Mac computers. You will be part of the Workstation Support Team responsible for providing End-user Computing support to all the Corporate Offices, Distribution Centers and Delivery hubs located in the region. We support a wide variety of devices including PC and Apple Laptops and Desktops, Wired and Wireless Printers, Handheld RF Devices, Avaya Phones, etc. We also support multiple OS systems including MS Windows 7, 8.1, and 10, as well as Mac OS Sierra 10.12 and High Sierra.

Duties:


  • Tech Support Admin provides systems management and support for WSI PCs, Macs, smartphones, tablets, other devices such a scanners and printers

  • Receives and understands completed process designs relevant to the work they are expected to carry out

  • Participates in, requirements gathering for projects and process work

  • Participates, in routine administrative installation and configuration activities

  • Follows procedures and system documentation

  • Performs routine systems resource optimization activities

  • Performs routine updates supporting new requirements and maintaining systems currency

  • As a Tech Support Admin, you will assist in implementing resource management and monitoring methods and tools

  • Works on projects of basic complexity

  • Monitors and administers system access and resources

  • Participates in systems management, and Security Compliance activities

  • Supports resolution of production incident

  • Works on escalations coming from Service Operations

  • Maintains System Runbooks

  • Provides work breakdown estimates

  • Administer all elements in assigned area

  • Identifies own dependences and problems

  • Follows prescribed process, able to observe deviations from process and suggest course corrections

  • Interacts with team members, within the department, or business users







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Strong experience migrating and decommissioning old PC and Mac computers

  • Experience with previous computer refresh projects

  • Knowledge and experience with imaging PCs and Macs

  • Windows 10/11 and Mac OS

  • MS Outlook

  • Comfortable with a ticketing application, managing a queue of day-to-day tickets and troubleshooting (ideally ServiceNow)

  • New hire setups, computer moves/migrations, etc.

  • Basic troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent customer service skills and very personable and professional

  • Great communication skills

  • Ability to schedule and coordinate appointments with customers






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
