Reporting to the Director of Sales for Kroger, the Account Manager will be responsible for driving execution of the overall plan, assist in conducting business reviews at select Kroger and Albertsons divisions, visit customer locations, develop long lasting relationships with key personnel, and work with cross functional partners to achieve company objectives and priorities that are aligned with customer objectives. He/she will work in tandem with the Kroger and Albertsons account teams to establish local goals and objectives that will deliver profitable and sustainable growth for the company.
Ways you will make a difference
Collaborates with both the Kroger and Albertsons account teams to communicate and execute events within each Kroger and select Albertsons divisions from beginning to end.
Establishes long-term direct customer relationships with assigned divisions.
Maintains an understanding of local market dynamics for each of the divisions.
Develops working relations with personnel at various levels, internally and externally, to communicate product availability, logistics information, product specifications, and pricing as needed.
Develops and achieves maximum volume consistent with realistic sales projects.
Works in tandem with the account team to maintain effective business planning initiatives for current and anticipated needs.
Develops and presents customer programs to multiple levels of management.
Adheres to operating budgets and trade spending plans.
Works with the account teams to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts for incremental selling needs.
Maintains current knowledge of Ferrara's product portfolio and thorough knowledge of business objectives.
Analyze business trends to find ways to drive the business - collaborates with cross functional team on the tactics, items, and activations.
Provides continuous evaluation and analysis of all POS sales activities and results.
Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Understands and demonstrates the Company's core values and operating principles.

Experiences that will support your success
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within the confection industry.
Minimum of 2 years' of CPG sales experience in a direct selling organization is preferred.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
This individual must reside in Cincinnati.
Approximately 60% travel, or as required to achieve results.
