Intermediate Assembler
Tallahassee, FL
Contract Position
$22.51 / Hour
Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform harness, electrical, and mechanical assembly, including routing wires, crimping contacts, soldering, tightening hardware, and testing electronic units.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and direct reading test devices safely, adhering to OSHA and ISO standards.
- Follow computerized work instructions and read assembly drawings to ensure accurate work.
- Inspect and verify work aligns with technical requirements.
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain IPC certification in soldering.
- Capable of lifting 20+ lbs. without assistance.
- Proficient in using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and follow instructions.
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other applicable software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with strong initiative; able to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends, as needed, and the flexibility to work 2nd shift when required.
