Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified individual to fill the onsite Program Manager role, leading a team of talented and diverse professionals.
As the Program Manager and Site Lead, you will be responsible for steering high-impact, complex programs that are critical to achieving the organization's strategic goals. In this role, you will provide strong leadership in all aspects of program management, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and budget requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, key stakeholders, and senior leadership to drive program success, proactively manage risks, and ensure the achievement of all program objectives.
Compensation Minimum: $145,000
Compensation Maximum: $150,000
Job Requirements:
Skills / Experience Required
Hold and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
10+ years of experience as an Onsite Program Manager, supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs of similar size and scope
Deliver key reports and updates to customers, including ISS Monthly Status Reports, On-Call After Action Reports, Trip Reports, DISA Mandatory Training records, 8570 Compliance, and Action Plans for Hiring Deficiencies
Provide clear and detailed technical project progress reports, status updates, and briefings to stakeholders
Lead and manage technical project status, update, and review meetings, including preparing agendas and documenting meeting minutes
Oversee the development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of technical project plans, directives, and agreements to ensure alignment with objectives
Track and document technical project costs, schedules, and performance metrics, ensuring projects stay within budget and on schedule
Ensure quality assurance for technical design products, maintaining high standards for deliverables
Manage configuration control to ensure accurate tracking of changes and updates to technical products
Lead work planning and scheduling efforts, ensuring efficient resource allocation and task prioritization
Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring proactive management throughout the project lifecycle
Oversee workflow and information management to ensure smooth and efficient project operations
Identify opportunities to resolve program or project issues, recommending the optimal technical approach, organizational resources, and management controls to meet cost, performance, and schedule requirements
Oversee teams at Scott Air Force Base and Hill Air Force Base, ensuring consistent leadership and communication across both sites
Be available for travel to Hill AFB as required to support on-site needs.
Assist with the recruitment and hiring of new personnel, as well as conducting performance evaluations for team members
Education / Certifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or IT related field
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Security Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
