Position Overview

We are looking for an ambitious individual that has a strong desire to develop their career, to join our team. You will actively participate in your growth within the role and department, under the guidance of the Controller and other Finance leaders. The Accountant will have the primary responsibility of performing various accounting activities within the APAC finance team. In this position, you will support both the transactional and operational teams with weekly, monthly, and as assigned tasks. As proficiency is gained, you will have the opportunity to provide input on controls, new systems, and advice on efficiencies that can be attained.


This is an in-office position located in Fayetteville. Wage: Annual Salary $59,000-$64,500

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

• Assume responsibility for accounting for the day-to-day operations of NWA.

o Weekly Production Entries (Aggs, HMA, RMC)

o Energy posting and reconciliation (ensuring accuracy for scorecards)

o Ad hoc reporting and AP coding

o Expense analysis and research to support operational team needs

• Responsible for assigned month end journal entries, monthly and quarterly account reconciliations.

• Inventory accounting, reconciliation and analytics for aggregates, liquid, cement, and admixtures.

• Exposure to and assistance with monthly and annual variance analysis of operational statistics/volumes, as well as cash flow, DSO, DPO, and other items as assigned.

• Participate in leadership training

Qualifications Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related area of study required.

• Minimum of 2 years related or equivalent field experience in a finance/accounting role preferred.

• Manufacturing or construction accounting background preferred but not required.

• Proven ability to develop relationships and to work with teams as both a leader and a participant.

• Self-Motivated

• A current authorization to work in the United States, and can pass pre-employment controlled-substance testing.
