Position Summary
As part of the digital transformation at K-C, SAP S-4 HANA is the new suite for the Digital Core that will replace our current core ERP systems (SAP ECC) that have been in use for over 15 years. This is a large-scale business transformation providing a platform for digitizing Supply Chain and Finance processes and also underpins the next level capabilities in Global Business Services.
Reporting to the Chief Data and Technology Officer, the Senior Director, Head of Digital Core (Senior Director) will lead the S4 program in all activities, including the formation of an SAP CoE, establish the vision for Digital Core, create business cases, architecture, implementation approach and resourcing strategy. Additionally, leveraging the successful upgrade to K-C’s North America systems, this leader and team will now pivot to successfully complete the global process model for rolling out S/4 globally.
Role & Responsibilities
After full program mobilization, this role will lead all IT functional aspects of the program, including responsibility for:
Managing the transformation and organizational changes required to move to SAP S4 from our current legacy systems
Identifying, tracking and presenting metrics supporting business case for program
Defining and managing the program scope, quality, schedule and budget
Facilitating working relationships between Global Business Services, Supply Chain, IT groups, and business units
Directing project managers, Enterprise and Solution architects to manage program level issues, risks and required decisions
Collaborating with technical SMEs to translate business needs, evaluate technological implications, and identifying standard system capabilities
Bridging cross-functional teams and maintain strong communications across impacted and affected groups
Delivering a digital transformation across a complex, matrixed, global enterprise while successfully engaging business stakeholders, internal customers, external partners, and, ultimately, consumers
Understanding and assessing KC-built systems to optimize the platform across the global organization
Managing the complexity inherent in a large, global, consumer products company with approximately 43,000 employees working across 37 countries in a highly matrixed environment
Driving change across a global organization and complexity while bringing the team and business stakeholders along the way

The Senior Director will have experience leading transformation projects that include consumer and marketplace-impacting initiatives. Importantly, they will be an outstanding communicator, with the demonstrated ability to clearly and effectively connect with colleagues around the world.
More specifically, the Senior Director, Head of Digital Core will be/possess:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with an IT focus. MBA or graduate degree in related discipline with a business focus preferred
5+ years in a senior IT role for global CPG or consumer healthcare industries
10+ years’ experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement, involving broad-based information systems, utilizing tools and techniques to effect business results
Experience in change management to more fully leverage technology to drive innovation
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across cultures, regions and geographies and able to travel 30% of the time
Experience managing complex IT partner relationships including offshore resources
Ability to think strategically and provide strategic leadership
Demonstrated experience in leading the transformation of a complex organization’s use and leverage of technology
Demonstrated experience working in a highly matrixed organization and partnering to achieve exceptional business outcomes
Ability to develop strong relationship skills with internal and external stakeholders, including up to the C-Suite
Ability to drive decisions concerning development methodology, architecture, tools, processes, and resource allocation, and delivering the application solutions
Must have proven experience with quality assurance processes and managing to a detailed project plan and budget
Demonstrated experience with full life cycle experience in large Global ERP implementations
Six Sigma Program and/or continuous improvement experience is a plus
Understand requirements, forecast skills, select, and place resources for competency centers (balancing personnel developmental needs and business delivery)

Total rewards at Kimberly-Clark includes pay and a full package of benefits that can be tailored to individual needs. The anticipated pay for this job has a range of $240,000-$280,000 in addition to bonus potential. Individual pay levels will be based on multiple factors including, but are not limited to, location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
