Rivertrail Kitchen Sanitation Worker
Position SummaryTo clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, kitchen and serving equipment, and related work areas by utilizing and operating appropriate equipment; sweeps, mops, sanitizes floors of kitchen and related work areas according to prescribed standards; empties waste baskets, trash cans, boxes, and containers; may assist in maintaining food inventories and food preparation. Position location: The Gallery at Snyder Phillips Hall.
All positions in SLE are designated as critical status. In the event of a university closure, modification, or suspension of operations due to snow or other emergency condition, persons in this position are expected to make all reasonable attempts to report to work as scheduled for the duration of the closure/suspension. If a person has an approved remote work agreement to work a portion of their normally scheduled work hours remotely, they may be called upon to work on-site to serve the MSU community.
Experience working with cleaning materials, flexible work schedules, and willingness to learn food service methods and procedures.

Work HoursMonday through Thursday 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., Friday off, Saturday and Sunday 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., alternating weekends off.
