The ServiceNow Configuration Manager oversees the configuration management process within ServiceNow, ensuring accurate and up-to-date Configuration Items (CIs) in the CMDB. This role supports IT service management processes by managing CI data and collaborating with IT teams.
This is an onsite position in Suwanee, GA!
Key Responsibilities
Configuration Management: Develop and maintain configuration management processes and policies. Ensure accurate CI records and relationships in the CMDB.
Data Integrity: Monitor and audit CMDB data for accuracy. Implement data quality standards and perform regular reconciliations.
Collaboration: Work with ITSM teams to ensure CI data supports change, incident, and problem management processes.
Reporting: Create and present reports on CI data and configuration management metrics.
Tool Optimization: Configure and maintain ServiceNow to support configuration management. Identify improvements to enhance CMDB effectiveness.
Training: Provide training and support on configuration management processes and ServiceNow use.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Experience with ServiceNow CMDB and configuration management processes.
Skills: Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL principles. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or similar certification preferred. ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
