Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Qualifications may include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.) 

Quality Assurance  


  • Collect, evaluate, and communicate supplier quality data to continuously identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain. 


  • Works directly with suppliers to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective action plans to address supplier non-conformances. 


  • Manages and reports for all open SCARs to meet internal closure deadlines. 


  • Lead supplier qualification activities including on-site evaluations, supplier process qualifications and maintenance of on-going performance metrics and evaluate and execute improvement opportunities. 


  • Work directly with key suppliers & the RO Supply Chain team on identifying & improving long term quality performance scores as part of the supplier scorecard process. 


  • Coordination of first articles as needed from supply chain. 


  • May be asked to support new product development and/or operations process improvement, verification and validation activities as capacity is required.  

Quality Systems


  • Investigate, determine, and respond to customer complaints including OEM complaints. 


  • Lead closure activities for NMCRs related to supplier activities. 


  • Execute internal audits of CIVCO business unit quality system. 


  • May participate in risk management activities throughout product lifecycle. 


  • May be asked to support other quality systems-related activities such as CN approval, COM/CAR closure approval and MRB disposition as capacity is required.  

Other Skills and Abilities   


  • Demonstrates documentation, process management, root cause investigation, quality analysis tool, and troubleshooting/problem solving skills.  


  • Demonstrates interpersonal and self-management skills. 


  • Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis, Microsoft Word for word processing, Microsoft office for email and calendar activities, and statistical analysis programs such as Minitab. 


  •  Prefer experience with manufacturing processes such as heat sealing, injection molding, machining, and assembly. 


  • Prefer experience in a regulated environment such as ISO 13485. 


  • Prefer internal auditor certification in a regulated environment.

Education and/or Experience

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (BS) in engineering or technical field from 4-year college/university; or 1-3 years related experience &/or training, or equivalent combination of both.
