We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee project management operations, from preparing bids and quotes to coordinating with various departments such as sales, purchasing, and production. A background in the industrial machine industry is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Coordination: Act as the job boss, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Inside Sales & Client Engagement: Work closely with the inside sales team to understand client needs and prepare comprehensive bids and proposals. Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the project duration.
Bid Preparation: Prepare competitive bids and quotes for clients, ensuring all specifications and requirements are accurately captured. Review and revise bids as necessary to meet client expectations and project goals.
Purchasing Coordination: Collaborate with the purchasing department to source materials and equipment necessary for each project. Ensure timely procurement of quality materials while managing costs effectively.
Job Cost Determination: Analyze and determine job costs, including labor, materials, and overhead. Develop cost-effective strategies to enhance profitability while maintaining quality and compliance.
Quoting Projects: Prepare detailed project quotes, working closely with engineering and production teams to ensure accuracy. Present quotes to clients and address any questions or concerns.
Cross-functional Team Collaboration: Liaise with engineering, production, quality, and finance teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and delivery schedules.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects comply with company standards, customer specifications, and industry regulations. Monitor project quality and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the project management workflow. Recommend and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
