We are seeking an experienced candidate to join our firm as our Document and File Management Specialist focusing on all matters related to our filing system including the conversion to electronic files.
The Document and File Management Specialist will be responsible for: • Transitioning all paper files to electronic files in our document management system; • Onboarding all new clients (conflict checks, setup in accounting software and document management system, creation of electronic case file); • Close all client files when representation has ended and ensure all records are in the document management system; and • Cleaning/closing of old files in offsite storage, main file room, auxiliary files rooms, and attorney offices.
The ideal Document and File Management Specialist will have the following credentials: • Advanced technological skills (familiarity with document management systems and scanning); • Ability to routinely lift/move heavy boxes; and • Prior law firm or document management system experience is a plus.
