The Össur Academy Manager, Bracing and Supports, is responsible for development, execution, supervision, implementation, monitoring, expanding and updating of all internal and external course content in coordination with the overall strategy. Responsible to develop in-depth knowledge, expertise, and ability to effectively create customized virtual customer and sales trainings on the full range of products and services offered by Össur. Must work with the sales team to coordinate and execute custom digital workshops and field training events for customer education at regional and global levels. Clinical orthopedic knowledge, organizational, digital creation, and presentation skills are critical for this position. This is a hybrid role, 2-3 days in the Irvine office.
Responsibilities:
Oversees and guides all internal and external bracing and supports education globally
Assists in providing best-in-class customer experience in relation to digital product education and onboarding
Produces high level customized demonstrations and lectures on Össur's full range of Bracing & Support products to key partners, utilizing Össur Media House facilities
On occasion, delivers field-based training in multiple settings including hospitals, O&P's, & orthopedic clinics
Reports on all activity, digital training courses, field trainings and customer contacts
Assists in clinical and technical training for regional sales and marketing teams
Responsible for maintaining their professional accreditation and standards
Maintains industry leading professional and technical knowledge of Össur and other manufacturers products
Acts as clinical stakeholder for R&D activities when required
Builds content and provides clinical feedback on product development activities
Attends educational and professional workshops, reviews professional publications, and participates in professional societies
Aligns stakeholders and manages expectations of training delivery
Identifies and develop relationships with key customers to create partnerships
Develops processes and initiatives to support development and efficiency of team. Tracks ROI and leads education analytic review on platforms such as Academy YouTube, Workday Learning, HealthStream and Highspot.
Supervisory responsibility for clinical specialists and education manager
Ensures all clinical staff are effectively delivering the proper clinical message via presentation tools, communication skills and product knowledge
Liaison with cross-functional teams, such as sales and marketing, to align on initiatives
Exercises good use of company funds and property within the set guidelines. Always maintains an honest and professional attitude as the company's representative
Contributes to a safe working environment by maintaining own workspace and reporting any potential hazards
Adhere to Company's safety rules

Qualifications:
Must be credentialed Certified Orthotist, Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) or Physical Therapist (PT)
5 years in clinical practice with supervisory responsibility or equivalent experience
Excellent presentation skills
Computer literacy: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Premiere Pro experience preferred. Demonstrates proficient knowledge and use of Össur products. Travel required (national and international), 15%
Self-starter: ability to take initiative and also to seek guidance when appropriate
Possesses good organization and time management skills

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,982 -$120,539 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
