Position Summary:
The Product Manager for Small Home Appliances and Home Goods will oversee the development, introduction, and lifecycle management of a new range of products aimed at enhancing home living. This role requires a combination of market insight, product development expertise, and a passion for consumer goods to develop products that resonate with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement product strategies and roadmaps for small home appliances and home goods, identifying new opportunities for innovation and growth.
Conduct comprehensive market research to understand consumer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop product specifications that align with customer demands and company objectives.
Manage the product lifecycle from concept through launch, including overseeing prototyping, testing, and go-to-market strategies.
Work closely with marketing and sales teams to create compelling product positioning, launch strategies, and promotional campaigns.
Monitor product performance post-launch, gathering customer feedback and sales data to iterate and improve product offerings.
Manage supplier and vendor relationships to ensure product quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts for the product line, ensuring financial targets are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of product management experience, preferably with a focus on consumer goods or home appliances.
Demonstrated ability to develop and launch successful consumer products.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset for decision making.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
Deep understanding of the consumer goods market and customer preferences.
Proven track record in supplier management and negotiation.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position based at GODIRECTINC.COM INC's headquarters.
Occasional travel to supplier and manufacturing sites is expected
