MRO Supervisor at Usui International Corporation in Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Description:

• Supervise and train MRO staff
• Manage spare parts inventory, contracts and services with suppliers/vendors, monitor and report department spending.
• Advise department management of any delays or problems with supplies that could affect plant operations.
• Monitor supplies and parts inventory using the PLEX ERP system.
• Identify alternative suppliers, vendors or products that meet the specifications when necessary.
• Work closely with Management to determine best items, suppliers, and prices to purchase in support of company goals.
• Determines proper storage methods and stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Packs and unpacks items to be stocked on shelves in stockroom or warehouse
• Identifies and marks stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Monitor supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects and reports damages to supervisors.
• Attend meetings as required by management.
• Other jobs and / or duties as assigned by Manager.

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years' experience in MRO or maintenance
• Ability to lead and supervise others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of maintenance supplies and inventory procedures
• The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations)
• Possess basic computer skills, familiar with web/internet navigation, and willingness to learn and utilize new technology-based products as applicable
• Ability to operate a Forklift (must maintain on-site certification provided by Usui)
