Solu is currently seeking a dynamic Senior Workday Analyst to join our client's team. Reporting to the Senior Director of HRIS, the Senior Workday Analyst will play a key role in system configuration, data migration, testing, reporting, troubleshooting, and end-user support. You will also have the opportunity to work on short- and long-term projects to support HR strategies and organizational growth.
Responsibilities:
HRIS Support and General Inquiries
Monitor the HRIS support desk, ensure tickets are properly routed, and resolve customer issues promptly.
Communicate and respond to general HRIS inquiries efficiently.
Provide exceptional customer service to associates, managers, payroll processors, and HR business partners.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy within multiple HRMS systems and maintain timely data availability.
System Support, Upgrades, Design, and Implementation
Support system upgrades, enhancements, and performance testing, including creating and documenting test cases.
Analyze software releases to assess the impact of new features and upgrades.
Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of system changes for annual HR programs, such as Benefits Open Enrollment, Merit Planning, and Performance Reviews.
Analysis and Recommendations
Gather and document business requirements while analyzing current technology and processes to create recommendations.
Identify opportunities for improvement and propose solutions to enhance HR and payroll systems.
Reporting and Dashboards
Create, generate, and maintain reports and dashboards related to HR and payroll.
Validate reports to ensure accurate and desired information is being produced.
Generate routine and ad-hoc reports as required.
Recommend and implement performance improvements in reporting functions.
Support the implementation of projects that affect payroll, compensation, and data management teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Accounting, HR, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience with HR applications (e.g., SAP ECC, Workday, iCMS, Taleo, Ultimate).
At least 3 years of experience working specifically with Workday, including the Core and Compensation modules.
Experience in custom report and dashboard creation.
Strong understanding of Workday configuration, particularly in areas such as Absence, Time Off, Time Tracking, Talent, Payroll, and Compensation.
Proficiency in working with calculated fields, matrix reports, and composite reports.
Advanced skills in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, formulas, pivot tables, and graphing.
Ability to set up and display key data in reporting, including graphs and metrics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and business planning expertise.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
