A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their IT team. This role involves providing day-to-day desktop and network support across various affiliate healthcare locations. Initially, the position requires onsite presence for the first 90 days, followed by a hybrid schedule. The role offers a healthy work-life balance with no overtime, and the opportunity to work with MSP-like technology in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktop and network issues across multiple healthcare affiliate sites.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, servers, wireless APs, switches, and firewalls.
Occasionally assist with infrastructure-related tasks.
Ensure smooth operations of Active Directory, Group Policy, and related technologies.
Technical Skills:
Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
Firewall setup (any vendor)
Wireless APs, Switches, Active Directory, Group Policy
PowerShell (preferred but not required)
Familiarity with Office 365 and Azure (a bonus)
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a Field Service Engineer or Desktop Support role, Ideally for an MSP
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Net+, Sec+ or CCNA (preferred but not required)
