Title: Auto Underwriting Supervisor, Personal Lines
Location: Chicago, IL
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify training needs and assist in designing training programs
Track and report on processing and phone performance standards
Perform monthly assigned number of underwriting and processing audits
Provide input for performance appraisals on processing, underwriting quality and quantity
Provide input for any processing or underwriting related performance issues
Develop positive and productive relationships with Independent Producers
Collaborates with internal departments in the areas of Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, Accounting, and HR to ensure operational efficiencies at the branch level
Continuously logged into the Personal Lines ACD
QUALIFICATIONS:
3 + years of underwriting experience
Strong knowledge of technical underwriting
Ability to work independently on technical and administrative matters
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
