Judge Direct Placement is seeking an Assistant Corporate Controller in Massachusetts! The candidate will lead aspects within the group as it relates to the inventory and manufacturing cycle. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for driving improvements across the internal control environment to ensure they comply with best practices and regulations. They will also provide leadership to non-finance groups in the implementation of any changes.
Responsibilities:
Manage the preparation of quarterly and annual external reporting documents
Coordinate with external auditors to ensure quarterly and annual reviews and audits are completed in a timely manner
Ensure all accounting policies and procedures are documented and followed by the group
Provide input on strategic decisions
Assist the Corporate Controller in the management of internal audits
Ensure all cycles audited are completed in a timely manner and remediation items are closed out properly
Recruit, manage and develop staff in the Accounting group
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting required
10+ years Accounting/Analytical experience
10+ years in management or leadership experience
Manufacturing background required
Expert level understanding of accounting principles
Skilled in time management and ability to prioritize
