Project Engineer Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Civil Project Engineer to join our team. If you have experience with excavating, underground, grading, utilities, wastewater, piping, paving, lift stations or water distribution then this role could be for you!
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage heavy civil projects from conception to completion
Ensure project timelines are met and within budget
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project success
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
Perform site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Prepare and review project documents such as plans, specifications, and reports
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and challenges
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
At least 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in heavy civil construction projects
Strong knowledge and understanding of heavy civil construction practices and standards
Experience with excavating, underground, grading, utilities, wastewater, piping, paving, lift station, roadway construction, construction, and pump stations
Experience in managing project budgets and schedules
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
