JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for various tasks including supporting and assisting the Project Manager and the team. Assists with overseeing projects, sets deadlines, communicates with clients, works closely with accounting, and follows up on all project activities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Provides leadership and direction to members of the team.
Involved/assists in hiring and selection process, terminations, and performance evaluations.
Monitors direct reports attendance and performance.
Essential Job Functions:
Assists in defining project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
Supports in developing detailed work plans, project schedules, estimates, and resource plans.
Assists the Project Manager in managing project workflow and resource scheduling.
Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned.
Tracks project deliverables using appropriate tools and techniques.
