The Choice is managing a direct hire search for a Director of Membershipand Component Relations for our client- a prominent professional architectural education association. The Director will lead membership engagement, recruitment, and retention strategies while also fostering relationships with regional and chapter leaders, overseeing student engagement initiatives, and supervising a dedicated membership team.
This is a hybrid position with in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
7-10 years of experience, particularly in association and volunteer management
Proficiency in AMS platforms, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Job Duties will include:
Oversee membership recruitment and retention efforts
Effectively market and promote membership to the industry
Evaluate membership benefits; identify areas of need and recommend opportunities to expand services
Implement strategies and tactics related to membership growth and retention
Oversee communication with affiliated Regions re: membership data, statistics and recruitment initiatives
Build relationships with student chapters and guide young professional programming
Supervise staff and represent the organization at events
Ensure Regions have a clear understanding of areas of responsibility and authority
Developing and maintaining templates and documentation to guide region and chapter operations and administration
Ensure an aligned strategy for young professional engagement across the organization and help guide regional leaders in creating programming and opportunities for young professionals.
This is an immediate hiring need.
Salary range:
$120,000-$135,000
