Essential Skills and Responsibilities:
Perform advanced report development utilizing Oracle BI Publisher and Tableau
Architect and build new Data warehouses and Data marts by integrating data from various sources
Work with internal and external system development teams to understand data models to suggest integration approach
Perform complex data analysis for an in-depth understanding of underlying data, data structures, and business use cases to ensure BI solutions meet client needs
Work with business users to understand Reporting problems and provide solutions. Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to draw meaningful business insight
Work with SMEs to understand the source and target data models
Define and document standards, guidelines and processes for report development and support
Ensure that Reporting, Data Warehouse and Database standards, Data Integration guidelines and processes are followed
Stay up to date on changes in reporting technology landscape, recommend software upgrades and evaluate and adapt to new technologies
5+ years of Experience with reporting software Oracle BI Publisher and Tableau
Strong Data Modeling skills to include data quality, source systems analysis, business rules validation, source target, mapping design, performance tuning and high volume data loads; and Design, develop, implement, and assist in validating ETL processes
Solid understanding of Data Warehouse/BI security, performance tuning, and optimization.
Ability to learn new technology and quickly adapt to technology changes
Demonstrates excellent leadership and coaching abilities
