We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Project Executive with government
project work experience to join our team and play a pivotal role in the success of our
forecasted company growth.
The Project Executive will oversee and provide direction for small and large-scale
construction projects for government entities. This role involves ensuring projects are
completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulations and quality
standards. The Project Executive will work closely with government agencies, subcontractors,
and internal stakeholders to facilitate project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight:
Lead and manage multiple construction projects from initiation to
completion.
Direct the develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Ensure projects adhere to government regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Stakeholder Management:
Lead the department in contact between the government agency, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Facilitate communication and coordinate with government officials, project managers, and community representatives.
Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Budget and Financial Management:
Oversee project budgets, including cost estimation, financial reporting, and expense tracking.
Ensure that expenditures align with budgetary constraints and seek approval for any changes.
Review and approve contractor invoices and payments.
Contract Administration:
Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
Ensure that all contract terms are adhered to and address any breaches or disputes.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local construction regulations and standards.
Prepare and present regular project reports to government agencies and senior management.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.
Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and address project risks as they arise, adjusting plans and strategies as needed.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor project managers, coordinators, and other team members.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, CCM) is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on government or public sector projects. Experience in managing large-scale and complex projects is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and standards.

Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and project schedules.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Ability to navigate and manage government procedures and requirements.
