Senior Lead DevOps Engineer at Hilton Global in Memphis, Tennessee

Job Description:

***This role is based at our corporate office in Memphis, TN (Allows telecommuting from anywhere within the Memphis metropolitan area)***

What will I be doing?

Develop and deploy core services and components that are part of Cl/CD eco-system; operationalize & support agile teams with their applications throughout their lifecycle; design, architect, and implement next generation Cloud architecture and automation solutions; implement, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments; own and lead initiatives to define, design, and implement DevOps solutions; provide technical leadership, project guidance, and technology implementation in various areas; harden and secure the enterprise CI/CD offerings while ensuring the systems reliability and resilience requirements are met. Up to 5% domestic travel.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressive experience in DevOps Engineering or related position.

Must possess experience with developing and deploying technology applications; designing and architecting technology automation and architecture; implementing and managing Cl/CD pipelines as enterprise offerings using Atlassian or Gitlab tools; scripting and programming in Java and Python; working with containerized applications in Docker or similar environments; setting up, configuring, tuning and deploying Kubernetes clusters; using WSO2 API manager or Service Oriented Architecture; complex troubleshooting of applications and detecting and resolving performance bottlenecks; realizing full software development life-cycle, network troubleshooting, infrastructure provisioning, systems architecture, testing with automation tools, and Linux based platforms; and demonstrated ability to extend and customize the functionality of DevOps tools.
