Looking to add to our team at EnerMech in Houston, TX. We are looking for a Project Engineer to support our General Manager in our Offshore Business Line. It is a great full-time opportunity at our corporate office in North Houston. Must be local or willing to relocate, no relocation provided or Visa sponsorship. Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Job Purpose:
The Project Engineer will report to the General Manager and provide support to the Project Manager by engineering and executing operations for one or more Offshore services (filling, flushing, pigging, leak testing, hydrotesting, dewatering, conditioning, umbilical hydraulic and electrical testing, umbilical fiber optic testing, umbilical commissioning / fluid displacement and flushing, bolting, torquing, and tensioning operations).
Main Responsibilities:
Preparation of operational procedures, risk assessments and project schedules during the engineering phases.
Direct control of operational activities to ensure effective project completion in accordance with the approved procedures.
Ensuring that equipment conforms to project specifications.
Maintaining effective communications with Client representatives and other project personnel.
Ensuring operational quality, safety and environmental systems are implemented and followed
Ensuring that toolbox talks are carried out and recorded in the correct manner.
Ensuring that the various locations operating requirements are met (i.e. work permit systems).
Control of operating location establishment and ensuring equipment and plant are fit for purpose.
Ensuring operational directives are completed.
Ensuring full records of operations are generated, maintained and compiled for submission to the Client.
Ensuring that the relevant Management of Change process is implemented for both Technical and Commercial aspects of the project and assessing the risks associated with change.
Ensure members of your project team receive post job evaluation at the completion of each project and ensure it is submitted to the Operations Manager and Project Manager.
Any other duties assigned by the General Manager

Ensure that all Quality and operational procedures as identified in EnerMech QA Manuals are adhered to at all times.
