The ideal candidate will oversee project from take-offs and bids. You will work with senior management to prepare accurate estimates for future projects.
Responsibilities/Qualifications
*Manage bidding schedule
*Run bid reviews with sales staff
*Strong computer, communication and organizational skills
*Detailed-oriented team player with the ability to multi-task
*Proficient in Bluebeam software
*Taking off quantities for bidding purposes
*Working closely with Project Managers to facilitate bids going out
*Develop shop drawings for awarded projects
*Sit in on weekly sales calls to support PM's
*Assist Project Managers with submittals, LEED submittals, Safety Submittals
* 1-3 years of experience in Commercial construction with a preference in Division 7,8,9 on new commercial projects
* Industry knowledge and ability to read civil, architectural, structural, MEP, and RCP construction plans.
